Electromagnetic properties of Carbon-Graphene Xerogel, Graphite and Ni-Zn Ferrite composites in polystyrene matrix in the X-Band (8.2 – 12.4 GHz)

چکیده

The electromagnetic properties of Carbon-Graphene Xerogel (CGX), Flaky graphite (GR) and Nickel-Zinc ferrite (FeNiZn) composites in polystyrene (PS) matrix were studied the X-Band range (8.2 – 12.4 GHz). In this work Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) waste material was processed into through recycling EPS. obtained utilized as dielectric matrix, mainly because PS is a well-known organic polymer that presents low loss light weight, which contribute to applications for aerospace field. order produce final composite specimens, CGX additive previously synthesized sustainable method employed use from paper pulp industry (black liquor). Afterwards, morphological structural analysis made Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) Raman Spectrometer, respectively. On other hand, magnetic material, FeNiZn, production calcination, whereas GR commercially obtained. It observed increase influenced on Complex Permittivity, 10 wt% + 50wt% FeNiZn sample demonstrated an absorption peak at 10.5 GHz. results are relevant concerning EPS its thus developing greener low-weight materials be used microwave applications.
